'White Harvest Energy' is a reference to John Do you not say, 'There are still four months and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! -NKJV. A "White Harvest" implies that the fields are ripe and ready to be harvested.   The harvest has always been a beautiful and important part of life on earth, the time when the year’s work bears fruit and the people are fed. It is symbolic of bounty, health and abundance. Israel celebrated the time of the harvest with a feast, appropriately called the Feast of Harvest (Exodus ).

The biggest reason not to tax loss harvest is if you won’t be able to get a loss out of it anyway. This often happens if you perform what is called a “wash sale.” A wash sale is when you buy the shares back within 30 days (before or after) the date you sell them. My current employment situation [well, current as of when this post was first written – ed] allows me to put $10K into backdoor Roth IRAs, $49K into a K/profit-sharing plan, and another $35K into a defined contribution plan.. Since I can’t, don’t want to, and don’t need to really save that much, there’s not really much point to a taxable account for me.

Thomas Tryon (–), actor turned author, made his bestselling debut with The Other (), which spent nearly six months on the New York Times bestseller list and allowed him to quit acting for good; a film adaptation, with a screenplay by Tryon and directed by Robert Mulligan, appeared in Tryon wrote two more novels set in the fictional Pequot 4/4(30). Harvest Home is a novel by Thomas Tryon, which he wrote following his critically acclaimed novel, The Other. Harvest Home was a New York Times bestseller. The book became an NBC mini-series in titled The Dark Secret of Harvest Home, which starred Bette Davis (as Mary Fortune) and David Ackroyd (as Nick). The mini-series was generally quite faithful to the Author: Thomas Tryon.
